First edition of the Portugal Railway Summit at the National Railway Museum of Entroncamento, where we debated the most diverse topics in Portugal's railway capital

Already regarded as a benchmark in national railway events, 2023's Portugal Railway Summit, organized by PFP - Portuguese Railway Platform Association, Railway Cluster, took place on May 3rd and 4th, for the frst time at the National Railway Museum in the city of Entroncamento, Portugal.

With the aim of discussing different ideas, exchanging experiences, and presenting new visions of innovation for the entire Railway Sector, this event featured over 60 speakers who shared their knowledge, experience, and passion for railways.

This event was exclusively in-person to promote interaction across the entire railway sector and stimulate B2B relationships among all participants.

In a context of significant plans for the development and future of the Portuguese railway sector, particularly through the National Railway Plan, this event highlighted the announced national investment plans in High-Speed Rail, while addressing the ecological challenges we must meet, fostering discussions on railway priorities and innovations to make long-term decisions and be part of the investments announced by the EU for the future development of railways in Europe.

Seven panels were presented at this two-day event, with highlights including:
